Yogyakarta, Indonesia

Yogyakarta or simply called Yogya is one of the oldest cities in the Indonesian history and it is one of the most visited cities in Indonesia after Bali. It homes to the world most famous Indonesian batik, Ramayana dance and the Sultan Palace or Kraton.

Other must-visit places include scenic Dieng Plateau where ancient Hindu temple was found and an upland volcanic plain, Mount Merapi, the most active volcano in Indonesia, Parangtritis beach, one of the most visited beaches in Yogya and Malioboro a well-known shopping promenade in Yogyakarta.

How to get there?

There are many choices for travelers to reach Yogyakarta. More than 10 domestic flights from Jakarta to Yogyakarta daily. Direct international flights are also available from many countries. Alternatively, travelers can travel by train or by bus from Jakarta or from other main cities in Indonesia. While in Yogyakarta, buses to major tourist destinations are available throughout the day.

    Saya sudah menjadi pengunjung tetap dan melawati satu persatu entri Bapak ST :)
    Pasti nyaman sekali apabila duduk melihat keindahan laut dan mendengar desiran ombak sambil menikmati keenakan jagung bakar.
    Saya ada beberapa soalan :
    1) Adakah di Yogya terdapat kolam air panas di mana kaki boleh direndam sambil merebus telur?
    2) Di sini terdapat banyak gunung berapi. Adakah terdapat tempat yang ada lumpur atau lahar yang selamat untuk dilumur di seluruh tubuh?
