Black-winged Stilt and Great Thick-knee aka. Great Stone-curlew at Yala National Park, Sri Lanka

Back-winged Stilt (Himantopus himantopus) and Great Thick-knee (Esacus recurvirostris) aka. Great Stone-curlew are another two common ground birds can be found in Yala National Park, Sri Lanka. They live near the riverbank.

Yellow-wattled Lapwing and Red-wattled Lapwing at Yala National Park, Sri Lanka

Yellow-wattled Lapwing (Vanellus indicus) and Red-wattled Lapwing (Vanellus malabaricus) are two common ground birds can be found in Yala National Park, Sri Lanka. They have large population in the park.

Green Bee-eater at Yala National Park, Sri Lanka

Green Bee-eater (Merops orientalis) is a colorful bird and commonly found at Yala National Park, Sri Lanka. It has the largest population in the national park.
