Sandakan, East Malaysia

Sandakan is the second largest city in Sabah and it is home to the famous orang utan rehabilitation centre and Labuk Bay Proboscis monkey sanctuary. Other traveller’s attractions include Gomantong cave, Buli Sim-Sim stilt fishing village, Sam Sing Kung Buddhist temple.

How to get there?

There are many domestic flights from Kuala Lumpur to Sanadakan daily. While in Sandakan, travelers can either rent a car or hire a taxi to move around places at reasonable prices.
