Wat Ban Tham is also known as Temple of Golden Dragon because before reaching to the temple, one must pass a dragon jaws, going through the dragon body and finally its tail. Wat Ban Tham located just next to Mae Khlong river, some 20 km from downtown Kanchanaburi and 10 minutes drive from Wat Tham Sua and Wat Tham Khao Noi.
To reach to the temple top, one needs to climb some 500 steps on a steep slope. Wat Ban Tham is certainly another must-visit destinations in Kanchanaburi, Thailand.
