Train Journey form Kanchanaburi to Nam Tok is a historic train journey to date due to its history of the infamous Death Railway. Death Railway is also known as Thai-Burma railway originally was a 415 km railway from Thailand crossing border to Burma (Myanmar) built during the Japanese era before the end of World War II.
The journey passes famous Bridge on River Kwai and Tham Kra Sae stations which are the most interesting and picturesque stations along the Death Railway journey from Kanchanaburi to Nam Tok station where the Death Railway ends at present. The Death Railway journey is one of the must-do activities in Kanchanaburi. It costs Bath 100 or USD 4 for one way journey from Kanchanaburi to Nam Tok, which takes approximately 2 hours at a special compartment.
