Pokhara, Nepal

Pokhara is the second largest city in Nepal after Kathmandu. Due to its proximity to the Annapurna mountain range, the city is also a base for trekkers undertaking the Annapurna Circuit. While in Pokhara, travelers must also visit Sarongkot a famous hill station for sunrise and Himalayan range view, David fall, Gupteshowor Mahadev Cave, Phewa lake and Bindabasini temple.

On the way to Kathmandu, along a narrow and winding road, Manakamana Devi Temple by Cable Car, is yet another must visit place.

 Where is it?

 How to get there?

Travelers can either travel by road, which takes approximately 6 to 7 hours through a narrow and winding road from Kathmandu  or a domestic flight which only takes 1 hour.

  1. Hello Bapak ST.
    How are you?
Seeing those photos makes me fall in love with the city I have never been to. The nature is so fascinating. 'Lucky' is the word best described the photographer who had an opportunity to capture the rainbow from the waterfall. It is amazing.
My favourite photo is the first one. The sun is hiding between the clouds and the blue sky and its light soften the picture. Sometimes less is more, right? The blue and green mountains are eyes soothing and they are between our focus point. Great picture!
