Bandung, Indonesia

Bandung is the capital of West Java, approximately 150 km from Jakarta. Bandung offers shopping paradise at Cihampelas Walk. It is home to a famous dormant volcano, Mount Tangkuban Perahu where traveller can go closed to the crater.

Other popular travelers’ destinations are scenic Situ Patenggang lake, Sari Ater Hot Spring and White crater or Kawah Putih  where travellers can go down to crater and touch the water. As the name suggests the colour of entire crater is white.

Where is it?

How to get there?

Travelers can also choose other modes of transportation from bus, train to van from Jakarta. International flights to Bandung are available directly from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Jadi inilah Sari Ater yang bapak pernah beritahu ketika saya bertanya tentang hot spring.

    2. Yes, I hope someday I will visit.
Something captures my interest, your 15th photo. That cute little girl holding her little sister looks like a Tibetan. It's not about this girl though, but what is written behind these three kids - Situ Patengan. The love story of Ki Santang and Dewi Rengganis. They had a love story similar to The Prophet Adam & Hawa and Shah Jehan & Mumtaz. The Prophet Adam & his beloved Hawa met again at Jabal Rahmah after being separated for a long time. Ki Santang and Dewi Rengganis met again at Batu Cinta. Shah Jehan built a Taj Mahal to manifest his love to his beloved Mumtaz. Whereas Si Kantang built the lake and boat for the love of his life, Dewi Rengganis. I guess many people visit these places as they believe they would find eternal love.

Myth is written in the history
Love is written in the mystery
It is not love if it won't give us the misery
And it is painful yet it gives us the ecstasy...

By the way, do have a picture of the heart-shaped Batu Cinta?
