Nagarkot is yet another must-visit destinations while in Nepal for its breathtaking of the majestic Himalayas, rolling hills, deep valleys, lush pine forest in a quaint rural atmosphere. Located approximately 32 km from Kathmandu, travelers can witness spectacular views of whole Langtang range, sunrise on the mountains as well as sunset views.

Nagarkot can be reached after approximately 4 hours driving from Kathmandu through narrow and winding road. Public buses are commonly available from Kathmandu.

ReplyDeleteAdding the map and the mode of transportation is a brilliant idea as travelers are able to plan their trip prior to their journey. Passing by its narrow and winding road, I guess I need "Atimol" if I were to reach to this place. Else, I prefer to take train if it's available.
