Nagarkot, Nepal

Nagarkot is yet another must-visit destinations while in Nepal for its breathtaking of the majestic Himalayas, rolling hills, deep valleys, lush pine forest in a quaint rural atmosphere. Located approximately 32 km from Kathmandu, travelers can witness spectacular views of whole Langtang range, sunrise on the mountains as well as sunset views.

 Where is it?

How to get there?

Nagarkot can be reached after approximately 4 hours driving from Kathmandu through narrow and winding road. Public buses are commonly available from Kathmandu.

  1. Hi Bapak ST
Puncak gunung yang diliputi awan seperti di kinabalu kelihatannya. Indah sekali pada pandangan mata. Lensa apa yang bapak gunakan?

  2. Thank you for the info Bapak ST.
Adding the map and the mode of transportation is a brilliant idea as travelers are able to plan their trip prior to their journey. Passing by its narrow and winding road, I guess I need "Atimol" if I were to reach to this place. Else, I prefer to take train if it's available.
Now come to my favorite photo. I choose the first one. It's like Stairways To Heaven..

  3. Very true Teh Bunga. The road is very winding and narrow and unfortunately there is no other mode of transportation from Kathmandu to Nagarkot. Thanks for your comment.
