Qutub Minar, New Delhi - India

Qutub Minar is a 100 meters tall tower made of red sandstones and marble located in New Delhi, India. Qutub Minar was commissioned by the first Muslim Sultan of Delhi, Qutub Ud Din Aibak and was completed by his successor, Illtutmish. Qutub Minar is declared as one of the UNESCO World Heritage Site in India.

    Exposed bricks are splendid building and it can be a great location for wedding photography. The Islamic art can be seen on the internal wall. Something about the first photo and maybe it is just my imagination. It looks like a teapot and I like it a lot LOL

    1. This monument is something unique. In India, you can witness a lot of Islamic civilization, among others are Taj Mahal, Red Fort and of course Qutub Minar. All of these are registered as World Heritage Site of India. The tower in Qutub Minar was used as a minaret to call for Muslim as and when the praying time comes. Really magnificent monument.

    2. Indeed Bapak ST. There must be something special about certain buildings when they are registered as World Heritage in every country. Something to check out before travel.
