  1. Hi Bapak ST
    A sincere comment from me:
Those photos captured during day time were great especially the details of animal motives. Nevertheless, those photos taken during the night distracted my eyes with plenty of reddish lighted subjects. Except for the first and the second photo. The dark sky complement the reddish subject, the light and the dark color are balance. What makes the first photo special is the half moon and the sky tone. It's kind of a little romantic mood. As for the second photo, it is my favorite. The dark sky, the pink light, white light and the foreground seems blended well with the red light and the temple itself. This is just my point of view as an audience. Other people might have different views I believe.

    1. In deed Teh Bunga. The first photo is a long exposure photo to capture the light dominated by red light from the lanterns. As for the second photo, it is another long exposure photo but with less lights. As the result, you can see a distinct color different on the two photos. The camera captures different amount of lights and color at given lighting condition. It was fun to experiment different type of exposure on different lighting situation. Well observed Teh Bunga. Thanks for your interest, visit and comments. Have a wonderful day

    3. The only way to learn is to try it yourself at different exposure settings and upload it on your computer to see the different. Remember, your DSLR screen is certainly not good enough to notice all these. Don't delete the "bad" photos. Those are for your experiment.

  2. Noted Bapak ST. I used to delete bad photos as I thought they are unusable. From now on I will keep them for comparison and learning experience. Manual setting quite a challenge for amateur like me. Thank you for your advise Bapak ST.
For night photography, using built-in flash is sufficient?

    1. For this type of photography, no flash light shall be used. It is a long exposure photography. You may adjust your shuttle speed. What you must have is tripod. Good luck to you Teh Bunga!
