Zero Point Sonmarg @ Ladakh, Kashmir, India

Zero Point Sonmarg is yet another must-stop location for any one who travel along Srinagar - Leh highway.

Zero Point Sonmarg is approximately one hour drive from a small town called Sonmarg or Sonamarg on the way to Leh, towards Zojila pass, which is known as the most dangerous and toughest routes in India. Zero Point Sonmarg is a popular ski destination in North India as it has beautiful snow capped mountains.

It is a popular tourist destination for both local and foreign tourists during spring and summer. Roads and resorts are closed during winter, from September to March due to snow falls as high as 6 feet and the temperature falls to minus 30 centigrade. Hence, there is no road access from Srinagar to Leh during winter.
