Wedding is always celebrated regardless the ethnic, race and culture throughout the world. The sequence how wedding ceremony is conducted is very similar in most ethnic and culture, that is starting with bride and groom being blessed by the religious person in a worship place followed by pledging by both bride and groom, signing of marriage certificate witnessed by both parents and exchanging of wedding ring.
Upon completion of the religious part then comes to wedding dinner, where guests are invited to witness the union of two families. In traditional Chinese wedding ceremony, there is an important event which is not performed by other ethnics, that is tea-drinking ceremony, whereby both bride and groom's close families are called in a room, followed by the wedding couple serving tea to each of them. This is when close family members give special momento to the wedding couple.
