Wilpattu National Park is the largest and the oldest national park in Sri Lanka, covering an area of more than 1,300 square kilometers. It is located some 180 km Northwest from the capital city Colombo and it takes approximately 4 hours drive from the Colombo international airport.
Wilpattu National Park is one of the national parks world-renowned for leopard population. The park has many beautiful lakes, forest and jungles. It is open to public from 6.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. everyday.
