Children portraiture can be done both indoor and outdoor. Depending on the age of the child, indoor or studio portraiture is easier because of limited space for the child to run around. However, for older child, outdoor portraiture is fun.
One of the most important aspect that must always be kept in photographer's mind is the child mood. That is the determining factor of the success of the portraiture.
One of the hardest subjects to get right. The holy grail is to make a good photo where the spontaneity and "child-ness" are preserved. The topmost photo, and the photo's with the umbrella's are my favorites in this series.
