Dal Lake And Mughal Garden @ Srinagar, Kashmir, India

Dal Lake and Mughal Garden are both located at Srinagar, the largest city and summer capital of  the Indian State of Jamu and Kashmir, commonly known as J and K.

Dal Lake is the main attraction to the city. It covers 18 square kilometer of areas, responsible for million lives. Houseboats and Dal Lake are closely associated with Srinagar, also known as "floating palaces". While small, non-engine boat, called "Shikara" is the only mean of transportation around the lake, including serving the houseboats' customers. During winter, from October to March, the lake freezes as the temperature drop to below zero centigrade.

Other must-visit place in Srinagar is Mughal gardens. A group of gardens built by the Mughal in the Persian style of architecture.

Hunder Sand Dunes @ Nubra Valley, Kashmir, India

Hunder Sand Dunes is located at  Nubra Valley, some 150 km North of Leh with the altitude of 12,000 ft above sea level and it is the highest deserts in the world. 

The Sand Dunes has become a magnet to both local and foreign tourists to experience camel safari. Coupled with beautiful landscape of snow capped Himalayan mountains Hunder Sand Dunes is definitely a must-visit destination in Ladakh, North India.

Gulmarg Hill Station @ Kashmir, India

Gulmarg is a popular hill station in the state of Jamu and Kashmir, North India. Gulmarg means "meadow of flowers" with the altitude of 2,650 m or 8,650 ft best visited in winter, from October to March. However, spectacular view can also be enjoyed during spring. It is a world class winter sports destination, including skiing and mountaineering. 

It has the best and picturesque view all year round, from completely white during winter to completely green during spring. Two-stage gondola, ski facilities, snow-capped mountain, beautiful pine tree forest, golf courses are the main attractions in Gulmarg hill station.

Gulmarg hill station can be reached in approximately 2 hours from Srinagar airport by car, passing by Gulmarg town, market and a little town called Tangmarg. It has abundant accommodations, restaurants, tea stalls and souvenir shops located just at the foothill. 

Gulmarg hill station is certainly a must-visit destination in Jamu and Kashmir, North India.
