Grey-headed Fish Eagle (Haliaeetus ichthyaetus) is a large raptor, very active and attractive resident bird can be found in Taman Eko Rimba Kota Damansara. It can be found on the matured trees around the park.

Taman Eko Rimba Kota Damansara aka. Kota Damansara Community Forest Reserve is one of few community parks located in Selangor city. It is a lowland forest area, covering 800 acres of land to conserve urban-adjacent nature space. It is a public park that serves a green lung for city folks. Located at Section 10 of Kota Damansara, just one hour drive away from Kuala Lumpur City Center.
The park is an important place for family get way, children activities, jogging and trekking. At the same time, it attracts wildlife and it has become a bird sanctuary.
Taman Eko Rimba Kota Damansara has a large bird population and varieties with a recorded more than 30 species of birds. It certainly entices many birders to be there. The main target birds include different types of kites, eagles, bee-eaters, kingfishers, shrikes, weavers, flycatchers, bulbuls, pigeons just to name a few. It has become a destination for migratory birds too.
Other neighboring areas to Kota Damansara Community Forest Reserve for birding destination are National Botanical Garden Shah Alam, Shah Alam Lake Garden and Bukit Jelutong Eco Community Park.
