Cactus Flowers @ Cameron Highlands, Pahang, Malaysia

Cactus is one of the attractions to plant-lovers at Cameron Highlands. it has many varieties with age from few months to more than 30 years. 

Cameron Highlands is a district located in the State of Pahang, Malaysia. The Highlands was discovered by a British Geologist, Mr. William Cameron in 1885. It consists of three subdistricts, Ringlet, Tanah Rata and Brinchang. It is located some 200 km northeastern of Peninsular Malaysia and it can be reached in approximately 3 hours by car or bus from Kuala Lumpur.

Evidence of British architecture is still well preserved in the Highlands. Convent school, Lakehouse Hotel, Smoke House Hotel, Casa de la Rosa Hotel, All Souls Church just to name a few. 

There are many attractions in the Highlands, including the famous tea plantations, mossy forest, Mount Brinchang, flowers gardens, strawberry parks and fresh produce markets. 

Cameron Highlands is a popular holiday destination among the local and foreign tourists alike. It offers abundant accommodations of all types, food and recreational activities that suit every visitor.

    1. Unfortunately, I do not know the location for birding at Gunung Brincang Mike. So I did not do there. I wish we will go for birding at the place one day. Thank you for suggesting.
