Erawan Waterfall Part I, Kanchanaburi, Thailand

Erawan Waterfall is located in Erawan National Park, Kanchanaburi Province, Thailand. Just one hour drive from Kanchanaburi town center. The waterfall has seven (7) tiers in total spreading in a distance of approximately 1.6 k.m. Depending how strong one is to climb the hill exploring the entire seven tiers, it may take few hours. 

The park opens from 8.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. daily.  There is an entrance fee to the park, which is different between Thais and foreigners of Baht 100 and Baht 300 respectively. Erawan waterfall is one of the must-visit destinations in Kanchanaburi. It is the most beautiful waterfall in Thailand.

Tham Kra Sae Train Station, Kanchanaburi, Thailand

Tham Kra Sae train station is one of the most interesting and picturesque station along the Death Railway journey from Kanchanaburi to Nam Tok station where the Death Railway ends.  The railway still maintains its original wooden structure along the cliff overlooking a breathtaking view of a river and valley. The Death Railway journey is one of the must do activities in Kanchanaburi. It costs Bath 100 or USD 4 for one way journey from Kanchanaburi to Nam Tok, which takes approximately 2 hours at a special compartment. To add the excitement, a Buddhist cave temple is located next to the station.
