Jakarta old city aka Kota Tua Jakarta in Indonesia is the original downtown of Jakarta during the Dutch colonization in 17th to 19th century, which was called Batavia.
The old city includes Fatahillah Square surrounded by colonial buildings, Bank Indonesia Museum, Jakarta History Museum, Museum of Fine Arts and Ceramics, Puppet Museum and Batavia Restaurant. The old city is very accessible through many means, including, buses, train and taxi.
