Wat Si Saket, Vientiane, Laos

Wat Si Saket is one of the oldest temple in Vientiane, Laos. Located in the city center, just across the presidential palace and Wat Phra Kaew. The temple is famous for having more than 6,000 Buddha images of different sizes and made from different materials. 

 

COPE, Vientiane, Laos

COPE stands for Coorperative Orthotic and Prosthetic Enterprise established to help those unfortunates for artificial limps, walking aids and wheelchairs in Laos. Its customer center located in the capital city, Vientiane provides documentary evidence of US army bombed the country, which killed and injured many millions.

Vientiane City Pillar Shrine is located in the center of capital city, Vientiane. It is a very interesting looking building. 

Patuxai, Vientiane, Laos

Patuxai is a war monument located in the center of Vientiane City, the capital of Laos. Patuxai means "victory gate" in Laotian. The monument was dedicated to those who fought for independent from France.  Patuxai is one of the many attractions to the capital city.
