Malayan Peacock-Pheasant @ Bukit Rengit, Lanchang, Pahang, Malaysia

Malayan Peacock-Pheasant (Polyplectron malacense) is a very attractive and very active bird among many hundreds of birds can be found at Bukit Rengit, Lanchang. It can be found in the forest, along the road leading to the Deerland Park.

Bukit Rengit, Lanchang is yet another popular birding place in Pahang, Malaysia. Lanchang is a small town located some 120 km from the capital city, Kuala Lumpur. It can be reached in approximately one and half hour by car. The birding place located at Bukit Rengit not far from Deerland Park.  Other attraction to Lanchang is the elephant sanctuary. 

It is certainly another wonderful birding destinations as it is a residence to many exotic birds. The main target birds in Bukit Rengit include Malkoha, Hooded Pitta and Malayan Pitta, different types of Babblers, different types of Trogons and different types of Bulbul just to name a few.

White-throated Fantail @ Fraser's Hill, Pahang, Malaysia

White-throated Fantail (Rhipidura albicollis) is super fast, super active and attractive bird among few hundred species of birds can be found in Fraser's Hill, Pahang, Malaysia. The bird usually can be sighted at the forest edges around the Hill. 

Fraser's Hill is definitely one of the best birding destinations in Malaysia and in Asia as it is a residence to many exotic birds. The hill covers a large area of tropical rain forest, waterfalls, trekking and streams. Yellow-rumped Flycatcher [Male] @ Sungai Congkak, Selangor, Malaysia

Yellow-rumped Flycatcher (Ficedula zanthopygia) is a very attractive and active bird among hundred species of birds can be found in Sungai Congkak Recreational Forest, Selangor, Malaysia. Yellow-rumped Flycatcher is a migratory bird to Sungai Congkak. The bird can be found at the forest edges in the recreational forest.  

Sungai Congkak Recreational Forest is yet another wonderful birding destinations in Selangor, Malaysia as it is a residence to many exotic birds.
